Customers praised these trekking sandals as "very comfortable" with "good fit" and excellent durability, with one pair lasting over 10 years. Shoppers noted they're "well made" and suitable for wide feet. Some feedback mentioned design changes from previous versions, with straps being less robust and velcro needing reinforcement for secure fastening.
The reason they didn't get 5 star was the leather strap at the toe end when you pulled it tight the velcro was insufficient to attach securely. I got over this by adding an additional piece of velcro (see photo with black velcro added) and it's fine now. So I think you need to a) add a longer piece of velcro or b) reposition the velcro c) reduce the length of the fastening of the toe strap to accommodate a and b above.
But yes the shoe is comfortable and attractive.
Very happy with the sandals. Immediately felt perfect.
They're similar to, but not the same as, the ones they're replacing. The strap across the heel used to be adjustable, but no more. The straps seem slightly less robust, not particularly important in itself but another indicator of costs being cut. Don't misunderstand me: they're still good, but perhaps not quite as good as my old pair. But I'll still start with Rieker when these need replacing, if they prove as long-lasting as the ones they've replaced.

The service was great but the sandals were a massive disappointment, the top strap so short that I could not wear them!

I was not a fan of sandals until I developed a toe problem and these are great! So good I now have 2 pairs one for outside and one for indoors. They are comfortable and I wear them all day. Good value too.
